Business/Systems Analyst

Scope of the role
The business systems analyst leads the projects through the full product life cycle and provides project and resource support and guidance to the software development team.
Daily challenges

  • Assist clients in analysing and defining business requirements and convert into systems requirements
  • Lead projects working closely with Technical Architect/Lead and in-house developers/third party companies through to completion
  • Prepare data analysis and put together software designs, including reporting solutions
  • Prepare detailed and precise documentation
  • Review and analyse data from multiple internal and external sources as well as devising data cleansing and processing rules
  • Manage/run User Acceptance Testing
  • Communicate with Stakeholders and work with both business users, clients, and third party solution providers
  • Help managing daily tasks within the team

Previous experience/ knowledge required

  • Cost benefits analysis
  • Business processes mapping
  • Project planning
  • Mockup/Wireframe software
  • Analysis of bugs/issues etc and applying resolutions
  • CRM solutions, Azure, O365, SharePoint, SQL SSRS and SSAS, Power BI, Data warehouses, Reporting, Dashboards, Web, Mobile, automated processes etc
  • IT Compliance procedures

Essential for the job

  • Excellent written and oral English and excellent communicator
  • Client facing skills
  • Background in software development/working alongside developers.
  • Several years of proven experience with differing complex IT business systems
  • Team Player
  • Can do attitude

 
This is a temporary role for 16 months with an option for extension.
